About Me

I’m Lily Bea, a 23-year-old songwriter from Perryville, Arkansas — a town small enough that everyone knows your name and nobody knows your secrets. I grew up on Taylor Swift, fell in love with Joni Mitchell, and found myself somewhere in the music of Lizzy McAlpine. My songs are about the version of me I don’t show people — the one who lies awake wondering if she’s a good person, who loves too hard and hides it, who’s still figuring out what growing up is supposed to look like. I write about heartbreak and longing and the messy, beautiful, terrifying thing it is to be a girl right now. Not the polished version. The real one. The one you were never supposed to hear.
